Environmental Arts
Working with what surrounds you, gaining a connection with the world around you, understanding and valuing the transitory as well as the permanent. creating works that can be found(or not). Gaining a greater understanding of the use of light and it’s transforming qualities. Making, finding , framing pieces that to help understand that the environment is what surrounds us every day as well as the forests and countryside.
An ideal way for those who believe they suffer from low creativity to find their creative roots and start to come to terms with my belief that we can be artists, whether it’s making simple lanterns to transform dark corner , decorating trees, using willow bark as string or creating a temporary sculpture. Or those who want to take a group or themselves and challenge what the meaning of environmental art is for them.
